Antelope Canyon, Arizona – A magical world of colour – Amazing Places
This place is the most visited and photographed canyon in the southwest of America. The incredible formations are created from flash floods which pick up tonnes of sand and smash it against the walls of the canyon, creating incredible, unique patterns. Now we had a Photo of the Day with a photo of this canyon and i felt it needed a little more exposure. Anyway, enough of that, take a look at some of these photos! I’ve only just started this blog so be sure to follow on your right hand side for plenty more stuff!
Uncovering photos from my trip to Italy – Part 2
Going on holiday with your friends is always a one to remember. I think I mentioned this before but these photos are from my old iPhone 3GS and I am still in awe at its abilities. Anyway here is another few photos i found from the trip, i no certain order.
I didn’t manage to get a photo of where i was standing to get this photo but there was this very tall, very old arch with strong winds. As you can imagine, as a paranoid human being, i kept thinking this could be the moment it would collapse. As if it hadn’t been standing through storms for centuries.
One day we went on a long walk up a seemingly endless mountain. At the top this fox jumped out without a care in the world! I didnt even have to zoom in on this photo. This just shows how curious wild animals are and their domestication by humans has spread fear throughout them.
The Palio di Siena, held twice a year, is a huge horseracing even between different neighbourhoods of Siena. Held in the Piazza del Campo, shown in the photo above, big rivalry occurs and it isn’t uncommon for a jockey to fall of on a tight corner. Originally, bullfighting took place in this square however it was outlawed in 1590. I’ve included someone else’s photo so you can get an idea for what its like below.
Anyway i hope you liked a few of my photos from my trip to Italy and give it a like if you did. Maybe even a follow… to much?
